Artist Spotlight
Solar Beam, by my late friend Thaddeus also known as TBA, is about the cognitive dissonance revolving around the idea of achieving personal growth while simultaneously feeling and fueling said growth with thoughts of regret, the action of taking accountability, and the ability to recognize where areas of growth were needed. My friend passed on November 16th, 2025, and since that day my friend has constantly been on my mind. We were not only friends, but teammates who played college football together, and music partners who collaborated on music production since 2019. Listening to this song has filled me with my own regrets, wishing I was more available to work with him when I had the chance. I miss my friend dearly and felt it was right to include him in this spotlight. I wish I were able to work with him more and were able to give him a rightful platform to showcase his talent.
